Converter unit 10kW for DC Fast Charging Station

E-mobility. Development and simulation the converter unit 10kW, 50-500V for EV DC Fast Charging Station

Overview

Converter unit 10kW, 20A, 50-500V are used as a part of EV DC Fast Charging Station. In this study, a 10kW converter, output 20A, 50-500V, input 230V was considered.

Modeling goals:

  • Determination of the parameters of the power circuit components;

  • Adjusting the structure of the control system for a given application;

  • Adjustment of control system regulators for a specific task;

  • Check in specified modes;

  • Analysis of the results;

The initial data were:

  • Block output parameters;

  • Operating modes;

  • Power grid parameters;

  • Battery operating voltage range;

The criteria for achieving the goal were:

  • Providing output parameters;

  • Ensuring the specified operating modes;

  • Effective work of active power factor correction (PFC);

  • Compliance with the parameters of the power grid for harmonics;

  • Optimization (minimization) of parameters of circuit components;

According to the simulation results have been given requirements for the parameters of circuit elements, parameter control, by the report
