Testing communication between PLC Siemens S7-1200 and Speedgoat Performance real-time machine via Profinet protocol
The purpose of the work is to set up communication via the Profinet protocol with a Siemens S7-1200 PLC from the IO752 module (Profinet Device Slave I / O module) Speedgoat Performance real-time machine
The Speedgoat Performance real-time machine processed signals with a fast sample time (up to 50 μs), executed the digital twin algorithm and diagnostic logic.
The diagnostic results had to be transferred to the computer for data archiving and visualization.
This was done through a Siemens S7-1200 PLC using the Profinet protocol.

Siemens S7-1200 PLC worked in client mode, Profinet module IO752 of Speedgoat Performance real-time machine - worked in server mode. The sample time was 10ms.
