Active Front End rectifier
Simulation the Active Front End rectifier 1000V, 200A for Battery Energy Storage System
The Active Front End converter is used as a grid inverter in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) as well as in solar power plants. In this paper, a converter 1000V, 200A was considered.
Modeling goals:
-
determination of the parameters of the components of the power circuit:
-
AC filter
-
inverter elements
-
determination of the harmonic composition of the current through the AC filter
-
adjusting the structure of the control system for a given application,
-
adjustment of control system regulators for a specific task
-
check in rectifier and inverter modes
-
check in overload modes
-
checking the reactive power regulation mode
-
analysis of the results.
The initial data were:
-
